ABOUT HITI FESTIVAL
September 2025 marks a new chapter for Hawai‘i’s music community with the inaugural Home in the Islands (HITI) Festival, a month-long, statewide celebration of Hawai‘i’s music, stories, and creative spirit. Officially recognized by the City & County of Honolulu, HITI features over 50 live performances, including, signature concerts, new music releases, and original media series—blending entertainment, cultural preservation, and philanthropy. Celebrated during HKF Month, HITI Festival uplifts artists and venues, introduces new platforms, and fuels year-round programs that support Hawai‘i’s music community.

HENRY KAPONO FOUNDATION MONTH
Throughout September, HKF Month raises vital funds for the Henry Kapono Foundation, supporting Hawai‘i’s musicians, live music venues, and music education year-round. Together with the HITI Festival, HKF Month celebrates the music that connects us, the artists who inspire us, and the communities that keep Hawai‘i’s cultural legacy alive—honoring the past while shaping the future of Hawai‘i’s music.
